Machinist / Spring Maker

Location: Nottingham

Salary: £33,090 - £38,599 + Full Benefits Package

Days Based Role – Monday to Friday

The Role

* Operate toolroom equipment consisting of milling machines, lathes, surface grinders, wire EDMs, and spark erosion equipment competently.

* Produce components (springs) to engineering drawings to a high level.

* Identify improvements and manufacturing methods within the department to increase efficiency and output.

* Maintain works order paperwork and booking through Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.

KEY SKILLS

* Experienced Toolmaker / tool preparer.

* Prior exposure to wire forming, wire manipulation and / or coiling on compression springs.

* Experience in a relevant Tool room environment
