Job Description

As an HGV Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of building materials to various sites and clients. You will play a key role in ensuring that materials are delivered on time and in excellent condition.

Key Responsibilities:

- Safely operate an HGV Class 2 vehicle.

- Load and unload building materials using appropriate equipment.

- Ensure timely deliveries to specified locations.

- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.

- Maintain accurate delivery records and logs.

- Follow all safety regulations and company policies.

- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients.

Requirements

- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) license.

- Driver CPC qualification.

- Digital tachograph card.

- Minimum of 1-year HGV Class 2 driving experience.

- Experience with delivering building materials is preferred.

- Strong understanding of safety regulations and procedures.

- Good communication and customer service skills.

- Ability to handle physical work, including loading and unloading materials
