Passive Fire Estimator / Lead Estimator

I’m looking for a Passive Fire Estimator / Lead Estimator to join a well-established specialist contractor. This role is ideal for someone with at least 3 years of estimating experience and 5+ years in passive fire protection, looking to take the lead on tenders for fire-stopping, fire doors, intumescent coatings, and compartmentation.

Key Responsibilities:

Preparing detailed cost estimates for passive fire protection projects.

*

Reviewing drawings, specifications, and tender documentation.

*

Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing.

*

Preparing and submitting tenders and bids, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

*

Collaborating with project managers to ensure smooth project delivery.

*

Conducting risk assessments and cost analysis to improve efficiency.

Requirements:

*

Minimum 3 years of estimating experience, ideally within passive fire protection.

*

5+ years in passive fire, with expertise in fire-stopping, fire doors, and intumescent coatings.

*

Strong knowledge of building regulations, fire safety codes, and material costs.

*

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and tender documentation.

*

Excellent analytical and numerical skills, with attention to detail.

*

Strong communication and negotiation skills.
