Location: Thornliebank, Glasgow
Salary: £35,000-£40,000 per annum

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Buyer to join a growing team in Thornliebank, Glasgow. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the company's procurement strategy and operations.

Key Responsibilities:

* Identify and evaluate potential suppliers and subcontractors

* Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with suppliers

* Prepare and process purchase orders and requisitions

* Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure timely availability of materials

* Coordinate with project managers and site supervisors to understand project requirements

* Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data

* Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations

* Address and resolve any issues related to delivery or quality of purchased items

* Develop and implement strategies for cost reduction and efficiency improvement

* Stay updated on market trends and new products that could benefit the company
