Credit Controller

Bedford - Office based.

£12.82 per hour

Hours - 8am - 5.30pm - 1 hour break

We are recruiting for a UK leading automotive business based in Bedford. We require 2 candidates who are passionate about providing excellent customer service. You must have worked previously within a Customer Service role in a call centre or have worked within a Finance/Credit Control role. The role will be contacting customers who have an outstanding payment. You will take the payment over the phone and update the customers records. You must be a self-starter and able to manage your own workload, working to strict deadlines.

The role

Contacting customers using various methods and ask for outstanding payments.
Taking payments over the phone
Follow the company payment process.
Liaise with various internal departments to resolve billing issues so payment can be collected swiftly.
Taking ownership of disputes until fully resolved
Escalate issues to relevant departments.
Reach and exceed daily targets.Skills and experience required.

Must have Customer Service Call Centre experience.
Must have basic Excel knowledge.
Must have good verbal and written skills.
Previous Finance or Credit Control experience desired not essential.
Must be customer focused.
