We are looking for a Trainee Sheet Metal Operative to join our client in Christchurch, this is an exciting opportunity to join a busy team due to an internal promotion! This role is permanent and an offer an immediate start. 

The company are looking for a motivated and career driven person who is looking to excel within fabrication. The role is £11.70ph to start with great opportunities to progress your skills and increase your pay rate! 

This is a large company that design and manufacture high quality structures and equipment, you will be working on a large catalogue of products, working from drawings to manufacture sheet metal components. 

Duties for the successful Trainee Sheet Metal Operative:

Marking out material and templates
Operating a guillotine and brake press
Cutting, folding and edge rolling sheet metal
Using various hand and power tools
Assisting around the workshop as and when needed.Key skills to be considered for this Trainee Sheet Metal Operative:

Strong math skills 
Excellent attention to detail 
Previous experience within a fabrication/ workshop environment
