Job Title: Maintenance Electrician
Location: Gatwick Airport, London
Salary: £25.00 per hour (CIS)
Hours: Monday to Friday – 20:00 until 04:00
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our client’s team at Gatwick Airport. In this role, you’ll be responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical systems and equipment to ensure smooth airport operations. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment where safety, precision, and reliability are paramount.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution, and emergency systems.
* Diagnose and repair faults in electrical installations and equipment.
* Conduct routine inspections and testing of electrical infrastructure to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
* Collaborate with other maintenance teams and contractors to support airport operations.
* Ensure adherence to all health, safety, and environmental policies.
About You:
We’re looking for an experienced and proactive professional with the following qualifications and attributes:
* Essential Qualifications:
* NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification.
* Valid ECS card or equivalent.
* Experience:
* Proven track record in electrical maintenance, preferably in an industrial or commercial environment.
* Experience with high-voltage systems and control panels (desirable).
* Skills:
* Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
