Our client in Gillingham has ongoing - long term temporary work available Priority will be given to candidates with experience of assembling parts or having any electronic skills – wiring, soldering, crimping etc

Production Operatives required for the following shifts:

The shifts rotate weekly e.g. one week early shift then one week late shift

Static shifts are NOT available

There will be an assessment day on Thursday 28/11/24, paid at 11.44ph, if successful candidates will then move to rotating shift work

Rotating shifts:

Week one - 6am – 2pm, Mon to Thurs, 6am – 1pm Fri

Week two - 2pm-10pm Monday-Thurs and 1pm-8pm on Friday

£12.32 ph including shift allowance

Production Operative job role includes:

* Product assembly – small parts – wiring, crimping, soldering

* Machine Operating (training will be given)

* Product quality checking

* Product labelling

* Product packing

This job role will involve standing for long periods on the production line. Production Operative candidates must be happy to use hand tools and equipment to manufacture small parts (electronic assembly).

Selection will be made after attending an induction day where your skills and suitability for training will be assessed, this includes having good dexterity and hand to eye coordination.

You will also be asked to undertake an online colour blindness test prior to your cv being submitted / going for an interview
