Our client in the Newcastle area would like to engage Education Health Care Plan writers who have significant experience working within a SEND Team and writing robust quality EHC plans.
We have immediate starts, upon the client reviewing full compliance and work can be completed remotely; however, if required; visits may be needed.
Key Responsibilities:
• Write and update high-quality EHC plans in collaboration with parents, young people, schools, and other services.
• Ensure all assessments, reviews, and amendments are completed within statutory timeframes.
• Maintain accurate records for an individual caseload and provide reports for effective budget monitoring.
• Work in partnership with other professionals to ensure smooth transitions for young people moving into adulthood.
What you will need:
• A personal commitment to the welfare of children and young people with SEND, and to treating all service users and colleagues with fairness and respect.
• Experience in working with SEND or in a similar role, ideally with a focus on EHC plans.
• Excellent communication skills, conveying complex and sometimes sensitive information to parents and professionals.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail to manage a busy caseload effectively.
• Ability to work collaboratively across different teams and agencies.
The client is offering £150 per day, paid via an approved umbrella company.
