Assistant Quantity Surveyor required to join a dynamic team for a contractor in the Suffolk area. Their portfolio includes projects in heritage, health, education, commercial, civil engineering, places of worship and residential sectors.

Ideal candidate:

The ideal candidate will have some quantity surveying experience and some formal QS/Construction educationeither HNC/D or degree, will have good communication skills, be self-motivated, enthusiastic and keen to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

* Re-measurement

* Recording and distributing project information

* Assistance with Final Account preparation

* Supply chain cost control

* Working independently on tasks reporting to line manager

* Enquiry preparation and analysis

* Assisting with Estimating

Education/ Qualifications:

* Bachelor's HNC/D (preferred)

Licence/ Certification:

* Driving Licence

Salary and benefits:

* Up to £35,000.00 per year plus £3k Car allowance
