Business Development Manager – New Business Focus

My client, a leading global telecommunications organisation, is seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Development Manager to drive new business growth and acquire high-value new logos. This role is essential for expanding the company’s market presence by identifying, developing, and securing new customer relationships. The successful candidate will be responsible for prospecting, closing high-impact deals, and driving revenue growth through innovative telecommunications and IT solutions.

Key Objectives

* Hunt for new business: Identify and engage with new enterprise and corporate clients, securing high-value contracts.

* Win new logos: Drive revenue growth by acquiring new customers and expanding the company's footprint.

* Develop strategic partnerships: Build long-term business relationships to establish a strong pipeline of future opportunities.

* Deliver results: Meet and exceed new business sales quotas and revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities:

New Business Development & Sales

* Proactively source, target, and secure new customers across corporate and international markets.

* Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation and qualification to closing new contracts.

* Identify opportunities for value-added solutions tailored to client needs, focusing on SD-WAN, IoT, Cloud, Networks, and Voice services.

* Cold-call, network, and prospect to build a high-quality pipeline of new business opportunities.

Account Growth & Relationship Management

* Establish strong relationships with C-level executives and key decision-makers in target organisations.

* Partner with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.

* Provide strategic insights and recommendations to enhance service offerings and maintain competitiveness.

Market Intelligence & Strategy

* Keep abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies.

* Develop and execute strategic action plans to penetrate new markets and drive business expansion.

Technical & Professional Skills

* Strong knowledge of telecom solutions, including SD-WAN, Unified Communications, Cloud, and IT security.

* Demonstrated expertise in selling complex technology solutions to enterprise clients.

* Understanding of managed services and the competitive landscape.

Soft Skills & Attributes

* Hunter mentality: Driven to seek out and close new business opportunities.

* Exceptional negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
