Description

Finance Manager responsibilities include:

Monitor and maintain Sage accounting system ensuring compliance and accuracy
Monitor and maintain Purchase Order Control system
Annual budget creation alongside management team
Month end and Year end closedown in Sage
General Ledger reconciliations
Balance Sheet Reconciliations
Cashbook and credit card reconciliations
Purchase ledger management and reconciliation
Sales ledger management and reconciliation - ensuring effective debt management takes place
Monthly financial and management accounts production
Monthly Job costing reporting to management
Cashflow reporting, monitoring and weekly cashflow meeting attendance
Liaison with external accountants for year-end statutory accounts production
Reconcile and submit Quarterly VAT returns
Weekly and monthly payroll liaison with external payroll bureau
Manage company pension scheme
Any other duties as required by managementProfile

The candidate will have:

Experience within a similar role - Required
Fully AAT qualified or qualified by experience - Required
Strong working knowledge of SAGE - Required
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal - Required
Ability to work to their own initiative to drive improvements - Required
Good leadership skills - Required
Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships - Required
Strong working knowledge of MS Excel - RequiredJob Offer
