We are recruiting for Machine Operative to join our Blow Moulding Department at Severnside.

The purpose of this role is to operate production equipment efficiently and effectively to achieve required standards of performance and to ensure that all appropriate Health & Safety, Quality, Hygiene and Housekeeping standards are maintained.

Contract – Full time 40 hours per week / Perm

Location – Severnside

Salary - £34,693.89

Shifts – 4 on 4 off 2 days 2 nights (7-7)

Main Responsibilities:

Set up and operate blow moulding equipment.
Maintain and troubleshoot production machinery.
Ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
Monitor and optimize machine performance.
Conduct quality checks and maintain documentation.
Support continuous improvement initiatives.
Train and mentor junior technicians and operators.
Report and resolve any safety or quality incidents.
Maintain hygiene and housekeeping standards.  

Key Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of experience in a blow moulding or plastics manufacturing environment.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Confident with IT.
Ability to work shifts.
Attention to detail, self-motivated, and a team player. Compensation & Benefits:
