Assistant Site Manager

A well established and respected regional main contractor are looking for their next Assistant Site Manager to join their team due to several new tenders being won in the Southeast. They have a strong reputation for delivering projects across commercial, refurbishment and education.

About the role of Assistant Site Manager

As the Assistant Site Manager you will working closely with Site Manager and Project Manager to ensure smooth day to day running of the site, assisting with planning, coordination and management of all site activities.

Responsibilities for Assistant Site Manager

Support in coordinating subcontractors, suppliers and site staff to ensure tasks are completed as per the project programme
Help monitor compliance with H&S regulations
Assist in maintaining quality control on site, ensuring all work meets required specifications and standards
Provide support with site logistics including material deliveries, storage and site access
Help manage site documentation
Attend and contribute to site meetings, ensuring any issues or updates are communicated effectively

Requirements for Site Manager

Previous experience as Assistant Site Manager
Knowledge of construction processes, H&S regulations and site management practices
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast paced environment
SMSTS, CSCS and 1st Aid

What we offer for:

The salary on offer is £35,000 - £45,000
