Salary: JIB Rates. OTE 45-50k
What's my mission?
Working as an Electrician, you will be undertaking a variety of tasks relating to the planning, implementation, testing & inspection, and maintaining of Electrical wiring infrastructures. This will cover power, lighting, electrical apparatus, and other electrical systems including site access, CCTV, security, voice & data network cabling and other technical systems and components for our customers. No one day will be the same, but some of the main duties will be:
Survey, design, implementation and testing of electrical wiring systems while observing all statutory and legal requirements.
Proactive maintenance of electrical circuits, including fault finding and diagnostics.
Installation and maintenance of data network and Wifi infrastructures, CCTV, and door access control systems.
Who will I be working with?
Our business is growing rapidly and 2024 is already scheduled to be very busy. There has never been a better time to join us! You will be working with a small and friendly Electrical team, working closely with our Service Delivery Managers and Support Engineers. You will have direct contact with our customers and business partners and therefore you will be comfortable liaising with a variety of people.
What do I need?
As you will be working within a team environment and speaking to customers daily, then your communication and customer service skills must be very strong. A good work ethic and level of professionalism and a desire to develop your skills will also be required. You will pride yourself in delivering outstanding customer service and developing long term business relationships with all of our customers.
You will be a fully qualified (NVQ Level 3) Electrician with18th Edition Amendment 2, and City & Guilds 2391/2395 qualification essential.
You will have at least 2 years’ experience working within electrical field of installation, maintenance, repair of electrical power system, equipment or another technical equivalent.
You will have a thorough working knowledge of Industry Codes of Practice, relevant British Standards and Construction Industry Safety Regulations including.
You will be able to run your own jobs and potentially have other Electricians/Apprentices working with you, as we pride ourselves on our ability to train and develop future Electricians in house.
You will ideally have a mix of experience working within Industrial, Domestic and Commercial settings
You will be comfortable working at heights.
You will have a full UK Driving Licence, with no more than 6 points.
You will be happy working away from home for short period of time, as and when the work requires.
You will need to pass an enhanced DBS check
