Here at Sterling Recruitment Services we are recruiting 2x Foundry Operatives for our client based in Middlesbrough.

This is a 12 week temporary to permanent contract for the right candidate. If successful the pay rate will increase to £13.50 per with a £150 per week shift allowance for night shift. This would be a potential annual salary of up to £39,000.

Working hours are 45 - 60 hrs per week(although typically a 50 hour working week), working both Day Shift and Night shift alternate weeks.

Duties include;

* Prepare all ladles required for casting

* Manufacturing aluminium ingots

* Pour metal into moulds/furnaces as required

* Repair ladles as required

* Brush out and spray up production moulds

* Ensure that a good standard of housekeeping is maintained at all times

* All tasks to be completed in the safest manner, adhering to all health and safety rules and regulations

* Work as part of a team

* Operating FLT

Candidate criteria;

* Hard-working

* Previous manufacturing and factory experience

* Foundry experience would be advantageous however not essential as full training will be provided

* Good work ethic & flexible to work both day shift and night shift

* Good communication skills both verbal and written

* The ability to follow instructions
