An exciting Junior Engineer/PPM Engineer position has arisen with this leading supplier of access control, door entry and warden call systems. They are looking for a Junior Engineer to start with the company as a Planned Maintenance Engineer with a view to be fully trained over time to become a fully qualified Service Engineer. LOCATION: You will carry out planned maintenance visits (mainly local authority and social housing) in the Kent and South London area. Working 8.30am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday.
SALARY: The basic salary is between £19,000 to £24,000 (depending on experience). Overtime is earned most days as Engineers are paid from the time they leave home/office to the time they get back which should give you an overall package of £29k. You will also receive 20 days annual leave and company pension. You will also receive a fully expensed company van.
You will be carrying out planned maintenance visits for access control, door entry and nurse call/warden call systems across the Kent and South London area, working with local authorities and housing associations.
Responsibilities are:
Undertake planned preventative maintenance visits scheduled by the Maintenance Desk.
To liaise with customers at a local / site level.
To represent the Company in a professional manner
To maintain the highest standards of paper work.
Ensure that Health and Safety requirements are upheld at all times.
The work is located in the London Boroughs and the surrounding counties.Candidates will ideally have some Engineering experience, and an operational knowledge of electronic systems and computer skills. The works will generally be within the Southeast and London areas. The candidate needs to have clear written and spoken communication skills and a full manual driving licence with no more than 6 points. If this sounds of interest please apply ASAP.
