ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Under general supervision, Reach Truck Operator will ensure safe and accurate receipt, storage, and shipment of food products utilizing equipment including, but not limited to, stand up forklifts, stand up dock loaders, walk, pallet jacks, and radio frequency equipment. Must be able to work in a -5 degrees Fahrenheit cold storage environment. Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

1) Promote safe work environment through personal actions.

2) Load and unload trucks and containers using equipment provided in safe and efficient manner.

3) Check and count freight for accuracy and/or damage. Take inventory as needed.

4) Direct product to correct area in warehouse.

5) Clear work area of loose wood and plastic, sweep area as needed.

6) Report faulty equipment, damage to racks, and other safety hazards to supervisor.

7) Other duties as assigned
