Senior Backend Game Developer | AAA Gaming | C# / .NET | £60k - £70k DOE | Fully Remote

Langham are delighted to represent the opportunity for a Senior Backend Developer to join a highly reputable AAA-rated co-development gaming studio.

With leadership from some of the most well known global gaming companies, this studio works collaboratively as an embedded part of their clients’ in-house teams to develop high quality games. Due to continued success and growth they are looking for additional senior backend developers to join their team.

We are welcoming applications world-wide with fully remote working. Any out of UK candidates will be hired on a B2B Contract basis. 

Role / Responsibilities:

Design and implement backend systems / key online service systems for current and future titles
Contribute to matchmaking, lobbying and server-less orchestration
Collaborate with technical teams to address network considerations and integration of multiplayer features
Integrate and manager Kubernetes (K8S) for scalable and efficient deployment
Optimise code
Provide development estimates and reporting
Implement and maintain DevOps Practices to streamline development and operations processes
Skills / Experience:

5-6 years’ experience with C# / .NET
Must have at least 2 years’ experience in gaming, ideally multiplayer games
Experience creating scalable backend solutions
Understanding of coding processes, standards and methodologies
Experience with Kubernetes (K8S), DevOps practices. Azure experience would be beneficial, but they would consider AWS or GCP
Package:

Salary £60,000 - £70,000k DOE, with some flexibility for the right candidate
100% remote and flexible working
