Front-End Developer – React / TypeScript - £(Apply online only) per day - Outside IR35 – 3-6 months - Remote
 
Overview:
We are currently partnered with a market-leading financial services organisation who are seeking an experienced Front-End Developer for a 3-6 month, fully remote contract.  You will be heavily involved developing and enhancing a client-facing tool to improve user experience and accessibility.
 
Role & Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain user-facing features using React and TypeScript
Implement reusable UI components with Storybook
Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
Integrate data visualisation elements for presenting complex financial information clearly and effectively
Make REST API calls to retrieve and update data from backend services.
Write and maintain unit tests to ensure the stability and reliability of the front-end codebase
Optimise applications for maximum speed and scalability
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver new features
Troubleshoot and debug front-end issues 
Essential Skills & Experience:

Strong proficiency in React and TypeScript
Hands-on experience with Storybook for building UI components
Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles
Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools (e.g., Webpack, Babel)
Experience integrating with REST APIs
Knowledge of version control systems, particularly Git 
Package:

3-6 month contract
