About the Role:

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Senior Site Manager to join a leading main contractor in Bristol. Initially, you will be a key player in the successful delivery of a major student accommodation project, reporting directly to the Lead Project Manager. This is a long-term opportunity to work on multi-million-pound building schemes in the region.

Key Responsibilities:

Overseeing day-to-day site operations to ensure timely and high-quality project delivery.

Managing subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams to meet safety, quality, and budgetary targets.

*

Ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations and company policies.

*

Coordinating with the Project Manager and wider delivery team to maintain programme efficiency.

*

Driving progress on-site and resolving any operational challenges effectively.

*

Managing project documentation and ensuring adherence to company standards.

Requirements:

✅ Proven track record working for a recognised main contractor.
✅ Experience managing large-scale multi-million-pound projects, ideally in student accommodation, residential, or commercial construction.
✅ Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
✅ Sound knowledge of construction regulations, health & safety, and quality standards.
✅ Ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders, clients, and the project team.
✅ Relevant qualifications (e.g., SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid, NVQ Level 6/7 in Construction Management preferred).
