Then reach out! Kingston Barnes is recruiting a Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor for one of our clients in the Glasgow area.

The Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the site maintenance teams. The primary role of this individual is to assist the site management in the planning, scheduling and delivery of the plant outages and projects.

This role is 80% hands off, 20% hands on.

You will travel to various company sites within Scotland and occasionally in England. It is very unlikely that you will be required to stay away overnight, however, the successful candidate must be aware that this can occasionally happen.

Duties & responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:

* Planning and scheduling of work packages

* to provide coherent and innovative solutions to planned and emergent tasks.

* Assist in Management plans across all sites to forecast scheduled preventative maintenance tasks

* Undertaking routine site visits to review critical stock holdings of outage spare and wear parts to ensure all required items are held at site prior to the commencement of works

* Support the Site Engineering managers in the day to day delivery of the Outage period

* Conduct RCM reviews of mechanical maintenance procedures

About you:

* Extensive knowledge of mechanical maintenance and engineering within heavy engineering

* Have a strong understanding of root cause analysis

* Possess appropriate Engineering qualifications with a minimum of HNC.

* Hold a UK Driving licence

* Have a minimum of IOSH or equivalent

Package:

* £60,000 - £70,000 per year

* £6,500 car allowance

* Annual bonus up to £10%

* Monday – Friday, 37.5hrs per week

* 7% matched pension

* 25 days annual leave + banks

* Sick pay scheme
