EYFS Teaching Assistant

Location: Bishop Gate Green, Coventry, CV1
Daily Rate: £100 - £110
Start Date: ASAP
Days: Monday to Friday
Contract: Full Time (Term Time Only)

Long Term Futures are searching for a nurturing, patient, and adaptable EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming mainstream primary school in Bishop Gate Green. You will be based within a well-equipped Specialist Resource Provision (SRP), supporting children with SEN needs on a one-to-one basis and in small groups. This role is offered on a long-term basis with the potential for a permanent position.

The Ideal Candidate:

Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools or a relevant qualification.
Experience working with SEN, SEMH (ASD, Complex Needs preferred) within an education setting.
Knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and early learning strategies.
Ability to support SEN pupils 1:1, in small groups, and across the whole class.
Strong teamwork skills - able to collaborate with staff and follow teacher direction.
Understanding of EHCPs, including maintaining, updating, and reviewing progress.
Excellent communication skills (non-verbal skills desirable but not essential).
