Job Opportunity: Construction Manager - MEP.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the Project Manager in supervising on-site personnel on a busy construction site.
* Lead by example, enforcing safety and high-quality standards.
* Take responsibility for on-site health and safety.
* Ensure all employees are trained and qualified for their roles.
* Manage on-site labor resources for efficient operations.
* Maintain discipline on-site, addressing incidents as necessary.
* Manage and mentor apprentices in line with training requirements.
* Use the purchasing system to acquire cost-effective materials.
* Minimize costs and assist with system handovers to the client.
Required Experience & Skills:
* Mechanical/Electrical trade qualification.
* Minimum 4 years’ management-level experience in a similar role.
* Ability to manage subcontractors and multidisciplinary teams.
* Strong technical understanding of mechanical systems.
* Proactive in people management, EHS, quality, and project planning.
