The Role

As a Transport Route Planner, you will:

* Plan and optimise delivery routes for our fleet, ensuring timely and cost-effective operations.

* Utilise route planning software and data analytics to identify efficiencies.

* Work closely with depot managers, drivers, and the wider logistics team to ensure smooth execution.

* Monitor performance metrics, including fuel consumption, delivery times, and vehicle utilisation.

* Respond to unforeseen challenges (e.g., traffic disruptions, weather conditions) with agility and creativity.

* Stay updated on industry trends and technology to continually improve our delivery processes.

What We're Looking For

To succeed in this role, you’ll need:

* Proven experience in transport planning, logistics, or a similar field.

* Excellent knowledge of the UK road network.

* Familiarity with route optimisation software and tools (e.g., Paragon, PTV, or similar).
