Quantity Surveyor

An established and highly regarded Construction Consultancy with a great working culture is seeking an ambitious Quantity Surveyor for its busy, growing Birmingham office.

The company has a national presence but retains a close-knit and supportive culture, including very flexible and hybrid working.

This opportunity is ideal for a consultancy-based Quantity Surveyor looking for career advancement and a new challenge, especially if seeking to become chartered.

The Quantity Surveyor’s Role

As part of a small cost management team, the successful Quantity Surveyor will assist the Director with all areas of work on a mixture of new build, office refurb, and residential projects.

* Design and Build contracts

* Single stage procurement

* Cost planning

* Cost reports

* Variations

* Design and progress meetings

* Contract administration

* Some monitoring work

This is an ideal array of work and projects to rapidly gain experience and progress the APC.

The Quantity Surveyor

You will have a minimum of 2 years’ consultancy experience and live within commutable distance of central Birmingham.

* 2 to 4 years’ experience within a construction consultancy

* Degree in Quantity Surveying or similar

* Strong communicator and team player

* Eager for a challenge and looking for career progression

* £40,000 - £45,000
