Responsibilities
As a Computing Teacher, you will inspire and engage students in all aspects of digital literacy and computing. Your main duties will include:

Planning and delivering high-quality lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
Developing engaging and challenging schemes of work in line with the national curriculum.
Teaching a range of computing topics, including programming, algorithms, data handling, and computer systems.
Supporting students in developing strong digital skills and understanding how computing applies to the modern world.
Monitoring and assessing students' progress, providing constructive feedback, and setting learning targets.
Encouraging a love for technology and developing students' problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
Contributing to the wider school community through extracurricular activities and computing clubs.
Collaborating with other teachers and staff to ensure high standards across the department.
Maintaining an inclusive classroom environment where every student is supported in their learning.
Requirements
We are looking for a passionate and knowledgeable Computing Teacher who is eager to make a difference in students' lives. The ideal candidate will:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have experience teaching computing at secondary level.
Have a strong understanding of the computing curriculum, including GCSE Computing.
Be enthusiastic about technology and innovation, with a passion for encouraging digital literacy.
Possess excellent classroom management skills and the ability to engage students of all abilities.
Be committed to the school’s vision of academic excellence and inclusion.
Be a collaborative team player, willing to contribute to departmental planning and development.
