Nursery Manager

A position has become available for a Nursery Manager at a private children’s day nursery in Colchester.

The successful candidate will ideally have a minimum 18 months nursery management experience, possessing strong management and leadership skills, as well as a sound working knowledge of Ofsted standards and the EYFS framework.

Nursery Manager - Position Details

Your role will include:

* Overseeing the planning and development of the nursery setting

* Promoting a safe, caring, stimulating environment

* Supporting and promoting the provision of outstanding childcare

* Supporting staff development

* Liaising with the Local Authorities and other professionals associated with the nursery

You will ideally have:

* Minimum level 3 qualification in Childcare such as EYE, NVQ, NNEB, CACHE or recognised equivalent

* Minimum 18 months nursery management experience

* Up to date knowledge of EYFS framework and regulations

* Comprehensive knowledge of Ofsted standards and requirements

* Ability to identify priorities and meet outcomes
