Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer

Location: Beccles, Suffolk.

Are you a talented Mechanical Design Engineer looking for an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge projects? We are seeking a skilled individual to join our dynamic client in Norwich, playing a key role in the design and development of innovative mechanical systems.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and objectives.
Utilise Solidworks to create detailed 3D models and engineering drawings.
Conduct Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to optimise designs and ensure structural integrity.
Develop and evaluate prototypes, testing and refining designs for performance and manufacturability.
Work closely with manufacturing teams to support the transition from design to production.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in the development of mechanical systems.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and stay abreast of emerging technologies. Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Proven experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer, with a focus on Solidworks and FEA.
Strong proficiency in 3D modeling, drawing creation, and simulation.
Familiarity with the entire product development lifecycle, from concept to production.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Preferred Skills:

Experience within automation manufacturing - Essential.
Knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes.
