Job Title: Assistant People Partner

Salary: Up to £38,000 pro rata

Hours: Part time, either 18 or 25 hours per week (6+ months fixed term)

Location: Witham

This role would be to provide top quality HR advice, guidance and support to staff of all levels, whilst ensuring the consistent implementation and application of policies and procedures.

Main areas of responsibility:

* To provide prompt responses and high-quality HR advice in regard to a wide variety of ER cases

* Support People Partners and advise higher levels of management on interpretation of various policies, terms and conditions

* Manage informal and formal ER cases

* Ensuring all advice is in accordance with current legislation

* Oversee the day to day running of the HR service

* Assisting with planning, recruiting, reporting and retainment of staff

* Maintain accurate records and update where necessary

* Develop efficient processes and update policies

* Build effective relationships with employee unions

Required Skills & Desired Experience:

* Able to build and maintain good working relationships with all levels of staff

* Experience in a similar role

* Experience in a wide variety of ER cases

* CIPD level 3

* Good interpersonal skills

* Able to work well within a team as well as individually
