Job Title: EYFS Teaching Assistant

About the Role:
We are seeking enthusiastic and adaptable EYFS Teaching Assistants to join our pool of supply staff, supporting Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) pupils across a variety of primary schools in Goole. This is a flexible position ideal for individuals who thrive in dynamic settings and are passionate about nurturing young learners.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide support to EYFS pupils, ensuring a nurturing and stimulating environment conducive to learning.
Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and activities aligned with the EYFS framework.
Support the development of children's literacy, numeracy, social, and motor skills through play-based and structured learning activities.
Encourage positive behaviour and independence in line with school policies and the EYFS ethos.
Work with small groups or individual pupils, adapting support to their individual needs.
Assist with classroom preparation, tidying, and maintenance of resources.
Provide feedback to teachers on pupils' progress and engagement.
Ensure the health and safety of children at all times.Requirements:
Previous experience working with children in an EYFS setting is essential.
A Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) is desirable but not mandatory.
Understanding of the EYFS curriculum and child development milestones.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with teachers and school staff.
Adaptability and the confidence to work in new environments.
A valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
