This is a great opportunity in a brand-new state of the art production facility we are looking for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineers with strong electrical skills to join a new fast growing family owned business in Kettering. This food manufacturing business has seen significant growth in the last three years and is now entering its new phase of development.
 
We are looking for a multi- skilled Maintenance Engineer who is able to respond to breakdowns quickly reducing downtime and manage the planned maintenance schedule on everything from packaging machinery, conveyors, scales and palletizers.
 
With a mix of automation and manual machinery there’s a great range of equipment to keep you busy., you will receive training and development you require, you will have excellent customer service skills and have the ability to train staff.
 
The role as a Maintenance Engineer

Predominately providing reactive and proactive maintenance service to plant machinery.
Working with manufacturing staff to improve the process.
Providing effective handovers
Be able to make decisions and escalate when required.
Working on new projects
Maintaining fillers, conveyors, mixers and packaging machinery. Skills and Qualifications required in this Maintenance Engineers role:

Minimum of a level 3 engineering qualification preferably an electrical bias.
Experience within food manufacturing
PLC knowledge
Collaborative work ethic

£53,000 Basic Salary
Panama Shift Pattern
3 on 3 off, 2 on and 2 off (days) and 3 on 3 off, 2 on 2 off (nights)
