Position: Facilities Technician
Location: Worcestshire, United Kingdom
Salary: Up to £55,000
Shift: 4on 4 off permanent nights
Job Description:
As a Facilities Technician at our renowned food manufacturing facility in Worcestershire you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our facilities. Your responsibilities will include:
* Communication
- To actively co-operate and communicate with all company departments in the best interests of the business
- To liaise with Production, Hygiene and Technical teams to discuss and communicate issues and actions
- To communicate with equipment manufacturers and suppliers in engineering matters as required for the successful completion of duties, disseminate information to Engineering, Production and Technical colleagues as necessary
- To contribute to effective shift handovers by ensuring that all relevant and important information and details are relayed accordingly
Admin
- To undertake project work as directed by the Lead Technician and ensure that the project is completed and the outcome is reported back to the lead technician
- To ensure that paperwork is correct and up to date
- To read and respond to e-mails in a timely manner
Qualifications and Skills:
We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications and skills:
* - 3 years’ experience – food manufacturing environment preferable
- Possess appropriate qualifications applicable to your trade discipline
- FLT licence
- IPAF
- Plumbing
- Electrical (safety competency)
- Decoration
- Fabrication
- Facilities
- Must be highly methodical and organised in approach to preventative maintenance
- Can work well within teams
