About:

My client is a leading specialist principal contractor delivering external wall fire risk remediation projects. They have been established for nearly thirteen years and has a resilient business.

Values and durations range from £1m-£8m, and up to 2 years. By the end of this year, they will have completed over 40 schemes.

The role:

As the business grows, its estimation department it requires an additional estimator who can comprehend technical reports particularly FRAEWs.

Duties:

• Prepare accurate cost estimates for cladding projects.
• Analyse drawings, specifications, and related documents.
• Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers for pricing and product details.
• Work closely with project managers and the commercial team.
• Contribute to tender submissions.
• Attend meetings and site visits as required.

Requirements:

* Competently use PlanSwift

* Architectural training desirable but not essential or previous experience as an architectural assistant who is looking to develop their career, my client would certainly consider this.

* Previous estimating experience
