LTF Recruitment is seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 with a Year 4 child with Global Developmental Delay and medical needs at a nurturing school in East Finchley. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the child's social, emotional, and academic progress while providing essential medical support throughout the school day.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide tailored 1:1 support to a Year 4 child with Global Delay, ensuring their safety, engagement, and well-being.
Assist the child with both their academic work and social skills development, adapting activities to their individual needs.
Provide medical support as required, ensuring adherence to the child's care plan.
Collaborate with the class teacher, SENCO, and healthcare professionals to monitor progress and adjust strategies.
Foster a nurturing, inclusive learning environment that encourages the child's independence and participation in school life.Requirements:

Experience working with children with Global Developmental Delay and/or medical needs.
Knowledge of supporting children with special educational needs and adapting learning materials.
Confidence in providing medical care as per the child's needs (training will be provided if necessary).
Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills.
