Job Opportunity: Project Manager – Commercial and Public Sector Projects

Location: Home-based with travel across Hampshire, Dorset, Wiltshire, and surrounding areas

Salary: £35,000 – £45,000, depending on experience

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Are you a dedicated Project Manager with experience in renewable energy and a commitment to sustainability? We’re looking for a motivated Project Manager to oversee commercial and public sector solar PV and EV charging infrastructure projects, ensuring seamless delivery and customer satisfaction in Hampshire, Dorset, Wiltshire, and nearby areas.

Key Responsibilities

As Project Manager, you’ll play a key role in managing and delivering renewable energy projects, including:

Leading communication with customers, suppliers, contractors, and other stakeholders

Managing customer relationships using CRM software to ensure satisfaction and project transparency

Overseeing high-quality EV Charging Infrastructure (EVCI) installations, ensuring compliance with legislative, regulatory, and Health and Safety standards

Staying current with emerging technologies, installation techniques, and industry best practices

Visiting and surveying project sites as needed, and supporting Project Managers, Account Managers, and Design Engineers

Maintaining thorough and accurate records to regulatory standards

Additional Responsibilities

Representing the company at events, promoting renewable energy solutions

Providing training to employees and contractors as needed

Supervising and managing full-time and part-time employees and contractors

What We’re Looking For

Essential Skills and Experience:

Proven experience in customer relationship management, with proficiency in CRM software

Strong background in managing EV Charging Infrastructure (EVCI) projects

Thorough knowledge of regulatory and Health and Safety requirements

Exceptional communication and project coordination skills

Familiarity with site surveying and technical aspects of project management

Desirable Skills and Experience:

Experience in solar PV, battery storage, or other renewable technologies

Knowledge of the commercial and public sector landscape in renewable energy

Personal Attributes

Strong leadership and team management skills

Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects and maintain high standards
