Our well-known and highly established client based in Hertford are looking for a Senior Warehouse & Dispatch Operative to join their team, on a Temp to Perm basis.
 
The successful candidate will work within a dedicated team carrying out a variety of dispatch and warehouse operations.
 
The hours for this position are Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm.
The annual salary for this role is between £26,000 and £27,000, depending on experience and knowledge.
 
Main duties as a Senior Warehouse & Dispatch Operative:

Handling of stock - Goods in, receiving, checking, and updating stock levels using an online database
Keep internal stock locations and workspaces clean and organised
Communicate with both customers and internal teams, to ensure projects are booked in and delivered within correct timeframes
Work with external couriers, despatching orders using a variety of online logistics platforms
To work alongside other departments to improve processed and efficiency
Assist in distribution projects - work as part of a team, picking and packing a variety of products ready for collection
Carry out the picking and packing of orders using a tablet device when required  
Skills and Knowledge needed as a Senior Warehouse & Dispatch Operative:

Well organised, showcase an ability to work well under pressure when faced with tight customer deadlines
Data processing
Inventory management skills
Communicate effectively with internal teams via email/phone
Ability to work and collaborate within a team
Stock & Inventory control experience
Experience within Despatch/Warehousing
