Forge Operative

Location: Stourbridge, West Midlands

Job Type: Permanent, expected to work Full-Time hours

Primary Industry: Engineering

Salary: £11.44 - £15.00 Per hour

Job Duties:

Operating presses and other machinery in the forging process
Working in a heavy industrial environment to produce forged components
Inspecting finished products for quality assurance
Following health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment
Collaborating with team members to meet production targets

Required Qualifications:

Previous experience as a Forge Operative or similar role
Demonstrated ability to operate forging machinery and equipment
Knowledge of health and safety regulations in an industrial setting

Experience:

Experience working in a heavy industrial environment
Experience operating presses and other forging equipment

Knowledge and Skills:

Understanding of forging processes and techniques
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Good communication skills

Working Conditions:

Exposure to loud noises, high temperatures, and heavy machinery
Physical demands including standing for long periods and lifting heavy objects
