About the role: Do you have the skills to support students with a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN), including SEMH and ADHD? We are looking for an empathetic and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a thriving school in the heart of Hammersmith and Fulham. As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with additional needs, helping them overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential. Your day-to-day duties will include working 1:1 and in small groups with students across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, assisting with classroom activities, and implementing tailored strategies to support each child’s unique learning journey.

Application Requirements:
• Previous experience in a similar role is highly desirable.
• A relevant qualification (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3, SEN diploma) is beneficial.
• Strong understanding of SEN, including SEMH and ADHD.
• Patience, resilience, and excellent communication skills.
• A valid Enhanced DBS or willingness to apply for one.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide individualised support to students with SEMH, ADHD, and other SEN needs.
• Assist in implementing personalised learning plans in collaboration with the class teacher and SENCO.
• Use creative and engaging methods to help students access the curriculum.
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
• Monitor and document student progress, reporting to relevant staff.
