Role: Domestic Gas Engineer
Location: Inverness and Surrounding
Salary: £44,000 + OT
This is a fantastic opportunity to join the UK's biggest family run FM business on one of their brand new contract wins!!
The domestic gas engineer will be covering a multisite MOD contract, across the North of Scotland.
You would be joining part of a wider team, delivering gas service and maintenance with some small installations.
Job Responsibilities of the Domestic Gas Engineer:
* Carry out inspections, diagnose faults, fit parts and carry out repairs
* Testing and commissioning of equipment
* Undertake gas servicing as well as heat recovery units & unvented cylinders
* Complete job sheets for every task, daily log sheets and weekly time sheets
* Liaise with all stakeholders as required to ensure a high quality service is delivered
* Provide technical support and advice
* Supervise and potentially train staff
* Attend tool box talks
* Comply with company health & safety at all times
* Undertake any other duties that may arise
Experience / Qualifications of the Domestic Gas Engineer:
* Experience as a suitably qualified domestic gas engineer working in commercial or domestic properties
* Domestic gas qualifications (essential)
* Previous experience with PDA devices
* Excellent communication skills
* To be able to work as part of a team and under own imitative
* Full clean driving license
