Quantity Surveyor

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join an established main contractor based in Bristol. The business is one of the largest privately owned contractors in the UK and operates out of regional offices. They undertake projects across a range of sectors including commercial, education and student accommodation with projects ranging in value up to £75mil. Projects are a mix of single and two-stage tenders and typically administered via JCT forms of contract.

About the role of Quantity Surveyor:

As Quantity Surveyor, you will be working closely with a Senior Quantity Surveyor to manage the financial success of one of their upcoming schemes. You will be reporting into a visiting Managing Quantity Surveyor.

Key Responsibilities as Quantity Surveyor:

Pre-construction activities
Procurement and managing of sub-contract packages
Dealing with variations / valuations
Monthly reporting to Managing Quantity Surveyor

Key Requirements for this Quantity Surveyor role:

Proven track record of administering JCT forms of contract
Have worked within a main contractor
Experience managing most sub-contract packages
Live and be happy to commute to Bristol / surrounding sites
Full right to work in the UK
