Portfolio Procurement has been engaged by our leading Essex based client to recruit for a Food Buyer.

Main duties will include:

Negotiation of prices
Ensuring product is arriving as and when it should do.
Working closely with other areas of the business (sales) to ensure compete customer satisfaction.
Meeting with and spending time with customers to ensure any purchasing issues are resolved.

To be considered for this role you must have:

Previous experience at Junior/Buyer level within the Food industry.
Have strong negotiation experience
Have good IT experience including the use of Excel
