Electrical Design Engineer

We are looking for an experienced and qualified electrical design engineer join our technical team and lead the development of hybrid and solar hybrid power solutions. Must be competent with electrical systems design, interpreting and generating electrical drawings, technical documentation, PLC programming.

Assist with build and testing of prototypes and the completion of all documentation to allow products to enter into production.

Able to assist our team specifying and pricing solutions for bespoke hybrid systems.

Required skills:

HND Electrical / Electronic Engineering
Interpreting and Generating and interpreting Electrical Drawings
Control Panel design
Bespoke PLC Code, Fault finding and Modification.
Electrical Fault finding
Creation of Technical Documentation
In depth understanding of BS7671 standards

Preferred but not essential:

Degree in Electrical Engineering
Familiar with industrial inverter drives
Hybrid power systems design
Solar PV design
Bill Of Materials creation
Project cost tracking
C&G 2391-52
CAD
AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN
Understanding of IEC standards
Understanding of ISO and EN regulation standards
COMPEX 14
