Prototype Wireman

Are you an experienced technician with a flair for precision and innovation? We're seeking an experienced Prototype Wireman to join a great team in Greater Manchester and help drive manufacturing excellence forward.

The Company

The Role

As a Prototype Wireman, you'll play a crucial role in manufacturing cutting-edge products. You'll work with state-of-the-art equipment and be part of a team that values attention to detail and technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

* Wiring up electrical components, panels, and circuit boards based on schematics or blueprints

* Assemble electronic systems, soldering and crimping

* Occasional rework and repair PCBs with precision

* Assemble cable assemblies and terminate military-grade connectors

* Use inspection and measuring equipment

* Rack assembly

* Identify potential improvements to manufacturing methods

What We're Looking For:

* IPC 610/620 qualification

* Ability to interpret complex schematics and engineering drawings

* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

* Good level of dexterity

* Problem-solving skills and ability to use initiative
