PK Education is delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for an experienced Year 2 Teacher to join a diverse and thriving primary school near Dewsbury/Ossett. This full-time, long-term placement will start ASAP and run through to the end of the academic year.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons in line with the Year 2 curriculum.
Effectively manage and engage students to ensure a positive and productive classroom environment.
Cater for the needs of pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), adapting the curriculum to provide the best support for each individual.
Build strong, positive relationships with students, staff, and parents to create a supportive learning environment.
Implement effective behaviour management strategies to maintain a focused and respectful classroom atmosphere.
Provide assessment and feedback that supports students' progress and development.
Ideal Candidate:

Proven experience as a Key Stage 1 teacher, specifically within Year 2.
Strong understanding of the curriculum and how to adapt it for diverse learners, including those with SEND.
Excellent relationship-building skills with children, colleagues, and parents.
Demonstrates effective behaviour management techniques and a proactive approach to creating a positive learning environment.
A commitment to providing the best outcomes for all students, regardless of their abilities.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
