MJM are currently recruiting for experienced Mechanical Fitters for Stansted Airport, on an on-going temporary basis, for Landside projects.

The ideal candidate will have experience of working and repairing equipment on an industrial sized scale, such as, baggage systems, conveyors, or material handling systems.

The role will be starting Mid-November.

Mechanical Fitter Responsibilities:

The successful Mechanical Fitters duties will vary depending on the project/s we are running at the time but will include but won’t be limited to;

* Equipment Installations

* Preventative maintenance

* Reactive repairs

* Maintenance and repair of roller beds

Mechanical Fitter Background and Experience:

It is essential you meet the following criteria to be successful when applying for this Mechanical fitter role:

* Time served apprenticeship or equivalent.

* City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 or above in a mechanical or electrical maintenance discipline

* Unrestricted right to live and work in the UK.

* Able to read and interpret engineering drawings.

* Computer literate.

The following experience would be beneficial but is not essential for the Mechanical Maintenance Fitter positions:

* Previous FMCG, manufacturing or automated warehousing experience.

* Mechanical experience.

* Valid CSCS Card
