Overview: Working alongside our client, a leading 1st Tier supplier and manufacturer, we are looking for an experienced Account Manager with commercial account management expertise.
Remit:
* This position will suit an experienced Account Manager with a background in automotive manufacturing with prior knowledge of supplying into automotive OEM’s
* Fantastic opportunity for an ambitious Account Manager with Tier 1 automotive supply chain experience to join a forward-thinking company
Role:
* As Commercial Account Manager you will manage all commercial issues relating to product pricing and new project costs for automotive OEM’s
* In the role of Commercial Account Manager you will represent the company in face-to-face meetings with customers
* As Commercial Account Manager you will be the first point of contact for RFQ’s
* Presenting quotes to the customer and negotiating sales price
* Manage commercial considerations of customer design changes and presenting costs to the customer
* Attend weekly project reviews and present mission creep from original statement of works and RASIC
* Review changes to supplier pricing and negotiate price uplift with the customer
* Identify and develop new business opportunities outside of the automotive sector
Experience Requirements:
* Tier 1 automotive supply chain experience
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Strong negotiation skills
* Proven account management expertise
