Blaymires Recruitment is representing a leading design and build contractor based near Ringwood, Hampshire who is searching for a Design Manager to join the business.

As an industry leader within the modular build sector, they work across various sectors, from MoD, Education to Healthcare and Residential.

Key Responsibilities:

* As the Design Manager you will be responsible for leading and managing the design team, overseeing design development from concept to construction phases.

* Ensure the integration of sustainability and innovative design practices into all projects.

* Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop creative and efficient solutions.

* Review and evaluate design concepts, plans, and specifications to ensure alignment with client requirements and industry standards.

* Establish and maintain quality control and design management procedures to ensure consistency and compliance.

* Collaborate with project managers to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

* Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members.

* Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.

* Proven experience in a senior design role within the construction industry.

* Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes, and regulations.

* Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, BIM software and other related tools.

* Excellent leadership and communication skills.

* Exceptional problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.

* A commitment to sustainability and innovative design practices.

Hours:

* Mon - Thursday 8.30am – 5.00pm.

* Fridays working from home - 8.30am – 1.00pm
