Our established client is currently looking to recruit a HR Advisor on an initial 3 month contract.
  
HR Advisor / People Advisor
Birmingham – Hybrid
£23 per hour inside IR35
  
The successful candidate will have previous experience as a HR Advisor / People Advisor providing support and advice across all stages of the employee lifecycle.   Within the role you will be working within a team managing a caseload of active work including Absence management, Performance Improvement Plans and Disciplines and Grievances , alongside the following duties –

Providing management support and advice to promote high standards of people management, support outcome improvements and conflict resolution
Supporting the process of maintaining and improving people-related policies and procedures
Supporting the ongoing work of process improvement in our People Advisory team and, more broadly, with peers across our People & OD team
Providing valuable feedback to enable effective risk management and process improvement, often based on the outcome of cases and/or advice
Supporting the collation of Advisory-based data and MI
Looking after the process of employee risk assessments at all stages of the employee lifecycle
Supporting consultation processes to include restructuring and TUPE, ACAS and early conciliation, health, and disability related referrals etc.
Coach and support line managers to respond to people risks, issues and opportunities within their teams, including leading ad hoc learning sessions to respond to common learning needs.
Supporting employee relations through the effective management of employee relations cases focusing primarily but not exclusively on disciplinary & grievance, absence management and performance improvement plans (PIPs).
Ensuring case management complies with relevant policies and procedures, including effective and transparent communication and robust record-keeping and document management. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established Charity with opportunities for contract extension
