The Role

Due to continued growth, we are now looking to expand the team and are searching for a forward thinking individual who is keen to get stuck in and help us grow the company to meet our ambitious goals. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring ZTP deliver accurate financial reporting to our clients on a regular and consistent basis using our market leading in-house systems. The candidate will be expected to have an innovative approach in regards to financial reporting and cost forecasting.

The role on offer is working within the Client Management Team, which services ZTP’s multi-site corporate clients. With sites all over the UK, our clients require a high level of service to help them to reach their goals and rectify any issues that arise on their accounts from day to day.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

*Working through the ZTP training program modules to ensure the basics of energy procurement and management are in place.

*Learning your way around the software platforms, from a client facing and internal management perspective.

*Responsibility for the creation of period cost and accrual reports for ZTP clients, taking into account property changes, COTs, incorrect charges etc.

*Responsibility for the creation of budgets for ZTP clients.

*Running system reports, checking integrity and completeness of data.

*Organise and prioritise workload to meet various reporting deadlines and client needs.

*Design bespoke reports to increase efficiency and accuracy of data.

*Presenting the period numbers and explanation of movement to clients, both virtually and in person.

*Assist with the production and maintenance of up-to-date processes and procedures for all aspects of the role.

*Assist with onboarding of new clients to the accruals and budgets services.

*Customer services/satisfaction levels measured and improved.

*Approach of continuous improvement across the systems and reporting, so that our offering is market leading.

*Ability to liaise across the various internal teams to achieve to accrual and budget requirements.

Person Specification

First of foremost, we are seeking someone who has extensive experience in working the financial sector, preferably within the energy market.

Essential Knowledge Requirements

*Finance & Business acumen.

*Tax.

*Knowledge/experience of cost charging/accrual generation and financial reporting essential.

*High level of competency with Office applications including Word, Powerpoint and especially Excel.

*Fixed and flex product knowledge.

*Cost and consumption reporting, budgeting and forecasting.

Desirable Knowledge Requirements

*Advanced Excel - Power BI.

*Energy consultancy working environment.

*Energy industry knowledge.

*Exposure to working with corporate clients.

Essential Education & Qualification Requirements

*3+ years experience

*A-Levels

*GCSE’s
